• Blatta Orientalis is a time tested remedy for asthma, especially when associated with bronchitis. Effective in cough with dyspnoea and phthisis with copious pus - like mucus. This medicine is proved by Dr D N Ray of Calcutta. Leading symptom for use of Blatta Orie is Dyspnoea , threatened suffocation. acute cases of asthma and bronchitis, rattling of mucous, aggravated by lying down
• Bryonia Alba acts on all serous membranes and particularly when mucous membranes are all dry. Found to be effective in soreness of larynx and trachea, giving rise to dry, hacking cough, worse at night , forcing the patient to sit up; worse after eating or drinking : tough mucus in trachea, loosened only with much hawking. Bryonia is very beneficial to relieve pain in chest and head appearing while coughing
• Ipecacuanha acts chiefly on the ramifications of the pneumogastric nerve when there is spasmodic irritation in the chest and stomach. Indicated in asthma of yearly occurrence, dyspnoea with constriction in the chest; continuous sneezing; coryza; incessant, violent wheezing cough with every breath. Chest seems full of phlegm but does not yield to coughing.
