Antimonium crudum 30 is effective for Onycholysis due to fungus infection of nails, especially toenails. Onychomycosis, also called tinea unguium, is a fungal infection that affects either the fingernails or toenails. In either case, the fungi infection can make your nail separate from its nail bed. Other symptoms: Horny or split nails. Nails grow slowly out of shape. Horny growth under the nails. The person also suffers from horny warts on hands and soles. Feet are very tender and callosities are seen on soles.
Arnica Montana 30 is indicated for Onycholysis due to trauma or injury to the nails. A fingernail or toenail can be injured by a blow to the nail or by closing the finger or toe in a door or drawer. When the cause is a crush injury, underlying fracture and nail bed or matrix damage may occur. Other symptoms: Bruised pain under the nails. Black and blue color of the nail.
Bufo rana 30 is effective for Onycholysis with panaritium. In panaritium (nail bed inflammation) of the tendon sheath, the finger is held bent and that may lead to damage to nail tissue and its separation from the swelling underneath.
