Kalmia is a remedy prepared from the evergreen shrub of Mountain Laurel of the family Ericaceae. It is a natural medicine prepared from fresh leaves of a plant Kalmia Latifolia commonly known as mountain laurel and calico bush. It is commonly found in North America and Cuba. The main action of the remedy revolves around various conditions causing neuralgia and inflammations.

Kalmia latifolia MT is a rheumatic remedy, with the characteristics of pain shifting rapidly. The joints are usually hot, swollen and tender.
