Indication - REPL Dr. Advice No. 82 PURPIRAL FEVER is prescribed for the symptoms associated with childbed fever, and puerperal sepsis. This is sepsis generated in the mother after childbirth by germs getting into the uterine cavity through an unclean hand or dressing. Composition- Silicea 6, Sulphur 6X, Lycopodium 6X, Ferrum Phosphoricum 6, Pulsatilla Q, Ipecacuanha 6X, Echinacea Q.

Mode of Action of Individual Ingredients-

• Silicea 6x: Itching, burning, and soreness of the uterus and vagina.
• Sulphur 6x: Frequent flushes of heat chill and high body temperature. Heat at night without thirst.
• Lycopodium 6x: Vaginal bleeding, dark blood with large clots. Burning pain in the vagina.
• Ferrum Phosphoricum 6x: Vaginismus, Pain in Vagina during coition, cannot bear examination.
• Pulsatilla Q: Highly emotional, Mentally, an April day.
• Ipecacuanha 6x: In labor and threatened miscarriage pains fly from left to right.
• Echinecea Angustifolia Q: Mucus from the vagina, the temperature raised a degree, with a flushed face.

Dosage- 10-15 Drops with 1/4th cup water 4-5 times daily.
