Lichen planus is an immune-mediated disorder that affects the skin and mucous membrane. Homeopathy offers a natural, non steroidal treatment for Lichen planus that is safe and free of side effects. 

The characteristic "6 Ps" of lichen planus are: planar (flat-topped), purple, polygonal, pruritic, papules, and plaques.

Symptoms of Lichen Planus

• White patches or white, lacy net-like pattern
• Ulcers or patches of irregular redness

Kit 1 - Homeopathic medicines for Lichen Planus of skin

• Rhus tox 30, 2 drops 3 times a day - symptoms of lichen planus like red skin eruptions, with burning is suitably treated with this medicine
  
• Bio combination 20, 4 tablets 3 times a day. BC20 is a good skin disease remedy. It contains Kali Sulph for flat skin bumps, skin burning  & itching. Natrum Muriaticum for blisters , eczema type raw red skin inflammations, Calcarea fluorica for scar tissues , skin swellings with whiteness of skin
• Thuja 200 - Weekly once a week (every Sunday) , a good medicine for auto immune disease, Thuja is ideal treatment for Lichen Planus of pigmented variety. The patient has hyperpigmented brown-coloured spots. The spots are marked on the face, hands and arms
• Variolinum 200, 2 drops in morning once a day in the morning. Lichen planus of the mouth, vagina, nails, and scalp can cause scarring. After the bumps go away, in some they may leave a dark brown area on the skin. Variolinum alongwith Thuja is used for the removal of ugly scars left after cure of lichen planus, small pox and chicken pox

Kit Contents: 4 units of sealed medicines, 3 dilutions of 30ml each, 1 tablet of 25Gms

Kit 2 - Lichen planus for Mouth (Oral) or GI tract 

• Sulphur 30, 2drops in morning: Cutaneous Lichen Planus patients with papules and extreme skin dryness respond very well to Sulphur. Patients complain of worsening of itching towards night time and when getting warm in bed. Scratching is also marked and provides some relief from itching. Marked burning in palms and soles is a characteristic symptom for using Sulphur. The patient may also have an increased craving for sweets
• Borax 30, 2 drops  three times a day. Borax is a top natural remedy for mouth lichen planus. It treats ulcers inside the cheeks and on tongue, mouth is very dry. Other symptoms are bitter taste in mouth  and excessive heat in mouth
• Acid nitric 30, 2 drops three times a day. Nitric Acid is a useful to treat stinging pain in the sores of oral lichen planus which may be pricking and splinter-like pain in some cases. The sores are located inside the cheeks, the inner side of lips and edges of the tongue. The sores are deep and have a swollen surface. The tongue may be coated white or yellow coated. A foul odor from the mouth is also present.
• Thuja 200 -- Weekly once a week (every Sunday) , a good medicine for auto immune disease

He advises that these medicines need to be taken for 3-4 months regularly for good results
