It is reported to be useful in black eye, dysuria, haematocele, haemorrhoids, placenta praevia, wounds, etc.It is reported to be useful in bleeding from the uterus, with painful micturition. Profuse bright-red blood. Pain in left ovary and hip. Chronic gonorrhœa, with burning micturition; continual dribbling. Dysentery, with soreness and burning in bladder.

How to use Erigeron canadense?

It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases, they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once a week, month or even in a longer period. Erigeron Canadensis as per HOMŒOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA

Haemorrhages are caused and cured by this remedy. Persistent bleeding from the bladder. Haemorrhage from the uterus, with painful urination. Profuse bright-red bleeding. Pain in left ovary and hip. Chronic gonorrhea (bacterial infection), with burning urination; continual dribbling. Dysentery, with soreness and burning in bladder.

Mind: Great despondency.

Head: Congestion of the head, red face, nose-bleed, febrile action. Awakened with dull headache (forehead and right eye), with aching distress in all the large joints. Dull frontal headache with smarting in eyes.

Eyes: Smarting of eyes, all afternoon and evening. Slight agglutination of lids in morning.

Ears: Loud singing in right ear.

Nose: Bleeding from nose of bright-red blood. Increased secretion of mucus all forenoon.

Mouth: Bad taste in mouth.

Throat: Increased secretion of mucus in nostrils all forenoon, with a feeling of roughness of pharynx and sensation as if something had lodged in the upper part of the esophagus that caused frequent inclination to swallow. Rough feeling in pharynx in morning.

Stomach: Violent retching and burning in the stomach, with vomiting of blood. Eructations of air. Sharp cutting pains in upper part of abdomen every few minutes followed by dull pains.

Abdomen: Frequent distress in umbilicus with hard, aching distress in whole dorsal region. Frequent dull pain in umbilical region, with a feeling in anus as if it had been torn. Constant dull pain in right umbilicus, twice the pains were severe and cutting (first day, second day pain was in left umbilicus). Rheumatic pains in abdominal muscles. Sudden pain in upper part, followed by mushy stool. Dull pain in left hypogastrium and umbilicus. Dull pain in hypogastrium followed by dark-colored, hard, lumpy stool.

Female: Abnormally heavy bleeding, with violent irritation of rectum and bladder, and prolapsed of uterus. Bright-red flow. Profuse leucorrhoea (whitish discharge from vagina); bloody lochia returns after least motion, comes in gushes; between periods, leucorrhoea with urinary irritation; pregnant women with "weak uterus;" a bloody discharge on slight exertion. Nosebleed instead of menses.

Rectum: Bleeding haemorrhoids. Burning of rectum and anus.

Modalities: Worse, left side.
