What is Colocynthis?

Colocynthis is a Homoeopathic Dilution prepared from the plant Bitter Cucumber and is a frequently used remedy for colic and diarrhea with cramping pains in the abdomen. It is suitable for neuralgic pains and for complaints arising from a sedentary mode of living. It is hence suitable for lifestyle disorders especially in women who suffer from extreme menstrual colic.

What are uses/benefits of Colocynthis?

It is a very useful remedy in pain as it has severe contractions and cramping kind of pains that are made better by bending double.
