About the Author

Garth W. Boericke (1849–1929) was one of the most influential figures in homoeopathy. He graduated from Philadelphia Medical College in 1876 and Hahnemannian Medical College in 1880. Practicing in San Francisco for over 50 years, he also served as faculty at Hahnemannian Medical College.

His contributions include A Compend of the Principles of Homoeopathy, Boericke’s Materia Medica, and his translation work for the sixth edition of Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine.
