Arsenicum Sulphuratum Rubrum Dilution is very effective in dealing with intense pain in the head with chronic nasal coryza. It helps in relieving the pain over eyes extending inwards. It also helps in getting rid of thick mucus in the throat that causes hoarseness thereby helping in breathing. The formulation is effective for many conditions of the head, stomach, back and limbs.

Head: Severe pain in right frontal region, extending to the right ear. Pain worse by stooping and by exercise and made better by cold application; and at 5 p.m. Wakes pain in forehead over eyes. Pain from the back of head going round to the sides. Pain extending inwards.
Stomach: Burning in stomach as if coals of fire were placed there which is made worse by drinking cold water and by pressure. Pain in abdomen after eating.
Stool and Anus: Diarrhea, yellow early in the morning after getting up; and in the evening before going to bed.
Respiratory Organs: Thick mucus in throat with hoarseness. Pain in chest at 5am extending inwards. Pain with each movement, difficulty breathing, pain even on breathing.
Back and Limbs: After getting up in the morning there is a soreness of lower back extending downwards which is made worse by going to stool or urine. All joints seem immovable.
Modalities: Aggravation on waking, at night.
