About Quassia Homeopathy Dilution

Also known as Picrasma Excelsa, Quassia Amara, Quebracho, Quassia-wood(QUASSIA - PICRAENA EXCELSA)

This remedy acts on the gastric organs as a tonic and possesses an action on the eyes producing blurred vision. It’s also indicated for pressure and stitches in the liver, pain in the intercostal muscles and in spleen.

Quassia Patient Profile 
 
Stomach - It treats heartburns, expulsion of food from the pharynx, feeling of emptiness in the abdomen, dryness on the tongue, indigestion with gas and acidity and indigestion after infectious diseases and liver damage.

Urinary - The remedy is effective for the intense urge to pass urine day and night, impossible to retain the urine and wetting the bed.

Extremities - Signs such as cold extremities, desire to yawn and stretch, sensation of coldness over the back and prostration with hunger.

Quassia as per Boericke Materia Medica

Acts on gastric organs as a tonic (Gentian; Hydr). Seems to possess marked action on eyes, producing amblyopia and cataract. Pain in right intercostal muscles above the liver. Pressure and stitches in liver, and sympathetically in spleen.

Stomach-Atonic dyspepsia, with gas and acidity. Heart-burn and gastralgia. Regurgitation of food. Abdomen feels empty and retracted. Dyspepsia after infectious diseases; especially grip, dysentery. Tongue dry or with brown sticky coating. Cirrhosis of liver with ascites.

Urinary-Excessive desire-impossible to retain urine; copious micturition day and night. As soon as the child wakes up the bed is drenched.

Extremities-Inclination to yawn and stretch (Rhus). Sensation of coldness over back. Prostration, with hunger. Cold extremities, with sensation of internal coldness (Helo-derma).

Dose-First to third potency, or spoonful doses of Aqua Quassiae.
