About Coccus Cacti Homeopathic Medicated Pills 

Coccus cacti is a Homoeopathic medicine made from Cochineal, a tiny insect that lives on Cactus plants. It produces carminic acid as a defence against predators and it is this acid which is expensive to produce as very little of it is generated from the insect. The medicine is reported to be useful in asthma, spasmodic whooping-cough, nephritis, phthisis, backache, etc.

It is also indicated in inflammation of bladder and kidneys with very scanty urine and dropsical conditions of the body.
