About Carbo Vegetablis Ptk. 22

This is a German Homeopathic trituration tablet from Schwabe  (WSG)

Carbo vegetabilis Pentarkan Ptk 22 used for the treatment of meteorism (flatulency).
Meteorism also called tympanites, is a symptom that refers to a swollen abdomen. It is produced by the increase in the quantity of stomach gas, applying more pressure than normal inside the digestive system, triggering several discomforts. This particularly results in more or less forceful pain and flatulence to remove the formed gas especially in babies and young adults.

Carbo Vegetabilis Homeopathic medicine is made from vegetable charcoal through a trituration process. Vegetable Charcoal is a form of carbon having medicinal properties and known since ages. This medicine is employed to treat digestive problems mainly gas and acidity, and skin ulcers is considered since ancient times. Its also known for its antiseptic effect.

Carbo Veg patient: It is suited to people having weak gastric system hence suffers easily from many gastric issues such as gas, acidity, heartburn, loose stool etc. Next it is suitable to thin people who suffer from weakness and lack of strength.

Inimical medicines are Carbo Animalis and Kreosote, and should not be used after Carbo Veg.

Antidotes are Camphor, Coffea and Arsenic Album. These antidotes medicine can be used to neutralise the action of Carbo Veg.Dosage/ Uses:

Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed, adults should take 1 tablet of Schwabe Carbo vegetabilis 3-4 times a day.

Children: Unless otherwise prescribed, children should be given no more than 1 to 2 tablets in a day.
