Antimonium Tartaricum Dilution is a useful homeopathic remedy for the treatment of weakness and exhaustion. It helps in maintaining a healthy respiratory system. It is effective for patients affected with cough and congestion in the chest, especially beneficial for infants and older patients.
It is indicated in conditions of gastric disorders with diarrhea and vomiting, urinary infections, and nervous affections with trembling and contractures of the muscles with great weakness and prostration.

Mind and Head: Fainting and drowsiness with great sadness. Weakness and confusion of mind with the loss of consciousness, delirium, and headache. The sensation of a tight band around the head especially forehead. Aversion to touch and fear of being alone in children with pale, sunken faces.
Stomach: Difficulty in swallowing fluids with a thirst for cold water. Nausea and vomiting after food followed by weakness and prostration and desire for apples, fruits, and acids. Nausea with anxiety and oppression in the chest followed by headache.
Abdomen: Distention of abdomen with colic and much flatus. Pressing in the abdomen on stooping. Intestinal infection with diarrhea and vomiting.
Urinary: Urinary infections with a burning sensation in the urethra during and after urination with pain in the bladder. Increased and frequent urging to urinate with inflammation of the bladder and urethra with strictures. Swelling of the testicles in males.
Respiratory Organs: Loss of voice with cough and rattling of mucus in the chest. Difficulty in breathing with short, rapid breaths and sensation of suffocation. Increased secretion of mucus in the chest, bronchial tubes, and throat with very little expectoration. Cough after eating, with pain in chest and larynx. Has many symptoms in common with Antimonium Crudum but also many peculiar to itself. Clinically, its therapeutic application has been confined largely to the treatment of respiratory diseases, rattling of mucus with little expectoration has been a guiding symptom. There is much drowsiness, debility, and sweat characteristic of the drug, which group should always be more or less present when the drug is prescribed. Gastric affections of drunkards and gouty subjects. Cholera morbus. The sensation of coldness in blood vessels. Bilharziasis. Antimonium tart is homeopathic to dysuria, strangury, haematuria, albuminuria, catarrh of the bladder and urethra, burning in the rectum, bloody mucous stools, etc. Antimon tart acts indirectly on the parasites by stimulating the oxidizing action of the protective substance. By-effects following injection for Bilharziasis. Chills and contractures and pain in muscles.
