About Terebinthinae Oleum Homeopathic Dilution
Terebinthinae Oleum, also known as Oil of Turpentine, is indicated for conditions involving bleeding, especially from mucous surfaces, and painful urination accompanied by blood in the urine. It is particularly useful in cases of drowsiness, early stages of albuminuria, and pain around the groin region. The urinary symptoms are prominent, including inflammation of the kidneys with bleeding in organs, dark and fetid bleeding, and bladder inflammation followed by dropsy.
Composition:
Chemical formula: C10 H16
The oil is distilled from the oleo-resin (turpentine) obtained from various species of Pinus, purified through repeated rectification with water. It is further prepared as a solution in rectified spirit or ozonized by exposing the oil to sun and air in a half-filled bottle, shaken periodically.
