Homeopathy AT (anti trauma) tablets is indicated for Injury, accidents, surgery, visits to dentists or other post surgical conditions that can create traumatic conditions.

SBL’s AT-Tabs is a first aid medication and can be used as the first line of treatment for any kind of injury. It is a well-balanced combination of proven homeopathic medicines which helps prevent shock after all types of trauma and accidents.

Many traumatic events cause pain. Severe traumatic events, such as living through a natural disaster, physical assault, or combat, can inflict serious injuries that lead to chronic pain. Post-traumatic pain (or “trauma pain) is categorized as physical pain that is severe and persistent, occurring after a person experiences a traumatic event (injury, surgery, etc.), and persists past the normal healing time (3 to 6 months).

Trauma also means physical injury which may result in wounds, broken bones or internal organ damage. Often people that experience a physical trauma may also experience psychological difficulty in coping with the incident.

Types of physical trauma and treatment

Physical trauma refers to any injury or damage to the body caused by an external force. There are various types of physical trauma, each with its own characteristics and treatment approaches. Here are some common types of physical trauma and their associated treatments:

1. Fractures: Fractures occur when a bone breaks due to excessive force or trauma. Treatment usually involves immobilizing the affected area using casts, splints, or braces. Severe fractures may require surgery to realign and stabilize the bones.

2. Sprains and Strains: Sprains are injuries to ligaments (connective tissues that join bones), while strains refer to injuries to muscles or tendons. Initial treatment includes rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE method) to reduce swelling and pain. Severe cases may require physical therapy or, in rare cases, surgery.

3. Dislocations: Dislocations occur when the ends of two connected bones are forced out of their normal positions. Treatment involves manipulating the bones back into place, often performed by a healthcare professional. Immobilization with a splint or cast may be necessary to allow healing.

4. Contusions: Contusions, or bruises, are caused by blunt force trauma that damages blood vessels beneath the skin, leading to discoloration and tenderness. Most contusions heal on their own with time, but pain relief measures such as rest, ice packs, and over-the-counter pain medications can be helpful.

5. Lacerations: Lacerations are deep cuts or tears in the skin. Treatment involves cleaning the wound, closing it with stitches or adhesive strips, and applying a sterile dressing to promote healing. In some cases, surgical intervention may be necessary.

6. Burns: Burns occur when the skin and underlying tissues are damaged by heat, electricity, chemicals, or radiation. Treatment depends on the severity of the burn but may include cleaning the wound, applying specialized dressings, administering pain medications, and providing fluid replacement. Severe burns often require hospitalization and specialized burn care.

7. Head Injuries: Head injuries can range from mild concussions to severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Treatment depends on the severity of the injury and may involve rest, pain management, observation, and rehabilitation. Severe cases may require surgery or other intensive interventions.

It is important to note that the above information provides a general overview, and the specific treatment for physical trauma should be determined by a healthcare professional based on individual circumstances and the severity of the injury.
