About Guiacum

Guaiacum, also called Guajacum, is a drug prepared from the resin obtained from the wood of the Guaiacum officinale and G. sanctum Linn. which are native of tropical America. It has rounded or ovoid peas, frequently covered with a dull green powder or large blocks, the latter being usually firm.

Physiological Actions: Acts upon fibrous tissues producing rheumatic and arthritics pains. It increases perspiration secretion of urine and the menstrual flow

Description: Rheumatic sore throat with weak throat muscles. Throat dry, burns swollen, stitches towards the ear. Acute tonsillitis syphilitic sore throat. Underwood says that it is especially valuable in follicular tonsillitis, rheumatic Pharyngitis, and tonsillitis when there is violent burning in the throat.

Throat

The neck feels stiff and shoulders feel sore due to rheumatic pains
Sciatica pain
Joints are swollen, stiff, painful and cannot tolerate pressure or heat

Dosage: 15 drops of Guaicum mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice a day until symptoms disappear for 3 months or as prescribed by the physician. It can be taken with other allopathic medicines.
