Bakson Card Aid Ingredients and mode of action

1. Cactus grandiflorus, Crataegus oxyacantha, Strophanthus hispidus, Convallaria majalis, Valeriana officinalis, Aurum muriaticum natronatum 4x and Camphora 2x.
2. Cactus grand. Ø: Chest pains, with suffocation, cold sweat, Constriction, very acute pains and stitches in heart, pulse feeble, irregular, quick, without strength.  Oppressed breathing as from a weight on chest. Constriction in chest.
3. Crataegus oxy. Ø: Irregularity of heart, Chronic heart disease, with extreme weakness. Very feeble and irregular heart action. Extreme breathing difficulty on least exertion,  pulse accelerated, irregular, feeble, intermittent. Cactus grandiflorus is prescribed when arthritis with dropsy and oedematous swelling of extremities. Effective medicine for low blood pressure due to heart disease . Characteristic constriction as if an iron band around the heart 
4. Strophanthus hisp. Ø: It increases the contractile power of all striped muscles. used with advantage to tone the heart. Hearts action weak, rapid irregular, due to muscular debility; and insufficiency. Cardiac pain. Strophanthus is a muscle poison; it increases the contractile power of all striped muscles. Acts on the heart; increasing the systole and diminishes the rapidity. May be used with advantage to tone the heart, and run off dropsical accumulations. In small doses for weak heart; it feels enlarged. In mitral regurgitation, where oedema and dropsy have supervened (Digit).
5. Convallaria maj. Ø: A heart remedy. Increases energy of hearts' action, renders it more regular. Feeling as if heart beat throughout the chest. Palpitation from the least exertion. Tobacco heart, especially when due to cigarettes.
6. Valeriana off. Ø: Choking on falling asleep. Irritability with all complaints.
7. Aurum muriaticum natronatum 4x: Drawing and cutting in the heart. Violent pressure in the region of the heart. Cardiac anguish. Enlarged right side of the heart.
8. Camphora 2x: Icy coldness of the whole body; sudden sinking of strength; pulse small and weak. As a heart stimulant for emergency use of Camphor is the most satisfactory remedy.
