About Bach Flower

Dr. EDWARD BACH born in Mosely Warwichshire concluded that sickness and diseases were not primarily due to physical causes, but to some deeper harmony with in the sufferer himself.

He observed that body loses its natural resistance to diseases and becomes easy prey to any infection or from of illness due to distress in mind such as fear, worry, over anxiety, importance which depleted the vitality of an individual. 

Between 1930 and 1936 He devoted his whole time to the search for harmless remedies amongst the wildflowers of the countryside. He discovered 38 flower Remedies containing healing properties with the help of which the sufferer could again strength to overcome his anxieties, his fears, depression and so assist in his own heating in a natural way.

Cherry Plum is indicated when you are in deep despair and feel like you are going to lose it. This is also the remedy for a loss of control that has already taken place, because of the frantic fear and dread associated with such situations.

Vervain is indicated for people who are strong-willed and highly strong with minds that race ahead of events. The Vervain enthusiasm can be infectious, and they feel a strong need to persuade others to their own point of view. But at an extreme, they are in danger of becoming fanatics, unable to listen to alternative points of view, and they may put themselves under a great deal of stress because they find it so hard to switch off and relax.

White Chestnut remedy helps us think straight. This remedy is for unwanted thoughts and mental arguments that intrude into the mind and stop us concentrating. We can deal calmly and rationally with any underlying problems that might be causing the trouble.
